How I View… Summer | Mount Venron, WA Family Photographer

After reading this post make sure to head on over the lovely Danielle’s blog at Danielle Hatcher Photography  to see how she views summer.

Our summer in the pacific northwest has been a slow one.  We had lots of rain and the sun didn’t make a appearance until later in the month.  But once it finally did show up, we took advantage of it!  My daughter has a killer fashion sense too… she had to wear her boots with her swimsuit every time we went outside.

I thought I’d also include what the end of July brings for our family too… my husband returning home from being away for two months.  It’s tough being a fisherman’s wife during the summer when they’re away but the reunion makes it all worth it!

  3. Love these, especially the reunion photos! I can’t imagine having hubby away for such a long time. Longest we went was 2 weeks….2 months….or 2 years, even, like the military wives have to go through. I couldn’t do it! Props to you! They both looks so happy to see each other! :)

  4. Oh my, she is so adorable the boots and the bathing suit are so cute and funny. Your photos are beautiful this month, and love the one of your husband returning, it’s such a perfect moment to be treasured forever.
